Newport Thin Film Laboratory has a fully equipped thin film coating facility specializing in the design and manufacture of vacuum deposited thin films.  Most of the thin films that we manufacture are optical thin films used in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared spectrum.  We are continually expanding and improving our equipment and staff in order to remain at the cutting edge of thin film technology.

Newport Thin Film Laboratory will provide optics complete, or deposit high performance thin films on substrates that you provide.  Our high volume capabilities result in very competitive pricing.  However, we also work closely with you to develop prototypes or coatings for custom applications.  In fact, most of the thin films we develop are designed and manufactured to specific customer specifications.
